Kim S. Binns has been employed by Horizon-BCBSNJ for 19 years in various positions within the company and is now presently holding a position as a Business System Analyst II. Her responsibility is to conduct research and analysis for customers in order to recommend and implement new processes and solutions to problems. Her goal is to resolve issues, improve operational performance, provide analytical support to customers, and act as liaison for IT regarding new system enhancements.
She graduated from Berkeley College with an Associate's degree in Health Information Management at Garrett Mountain in 2000 and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the New York campus in 2002.
Kim is currently the Vice President of the Enlightenment and Empowerment Enterprise organization, which is one of the affinity groups at Horizon-BCBSNJ, whose purpose is to communicate and exchange information in order to enlighten, empower, and enhance -- both professionally and personally -- the lives of fellow co-workers and the surrounding community.
