L. Max Perez

Max Perez is the vice president of CIT’s Systems and Technology Services organization. He is responsible for CIT’s customer support services, service level management, problem management, vendor relations and business unit liaison activities.

A native of Ecuador, Max emigrated to the United States at the age of 14. He earned Associate's and Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration from Berkeley College at Garret Mountain and a Master's degree in Technology Management in 2006 from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Before joining CIT, Max worked for several tri-state IT consulting companies as a network engineer providing fortune 500 corporations with IT services.

Max joined CIT in 1997 as a computer analyst and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the company's technology services area. In 2003, he was appointed Assistant to the Vice President of the Systems and Technology Services and was named Vice President in 2005.

Max is a director and a member of the New Jersey Chapter of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (L.I.S.T.A), a non-profit organization providing Latinos with technology tutoring. He is also an active member of the International Toastmasters organization. Max was recognized by the YMCA of New Jersey as a Minority Achiever, in 2006. He also participated in Berkeley College marketing ads and was featured in local newspapers, billboards and college catalogs.
