Adding A Link to Another Web Site (URL) in the WYSIWYG Editor
As always, when you enter your Blackboard course, you are brought into the Announcement Page area.
Click on the Discussion Board Navigation button and this will bring you to a discussion.
Type the words that you want the viewer to see. For example, “The Internet Public Library”.
Highlight the words that you just typed by clicking and dragging the mouse on the words.
Click on the symbol to add the web site URL.
Type in the web site URL and optionally the tooltip. A tooltip is a yellow box that the viewer will see when the mouse hovers over the blue underlined text (the link). Then click on submit.
The link is displayed.
