The Berkeley College Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan, Vision for the Future, 2010-2015, restructures Berkeley College into separate schools: The School of Business, The School of Professional Studies, The School of Liberal Arts, and The School of Continuing Education.

The Berkeley College School of Business consists of three departments:

        • Accounting and Finance
        • Fashion and Marketing
        • Management

In addition to having advanced degrees in their fields, most members of the business faculty have served as corporate executives and consultants, or have owned their own companies. They bring valuable real-world experience to the classroom.

Marisol Abuin, Dean, Berkeley College School of Professional StudiesThe School of Professional Studies
Dean: Marisol Abuin, JD

The Berkeley College School of Professional Studies offers degree programs in:

        • Paralegal Studies
        • Interior Design
        • Justice Studies-Criminal Justice
        • Health Services

Courses are taught by faculty members with years of experience in their respective fields. Berkeley's Paralegal Studies program is approved by the American Bar Association. Students pursuing careers in Interior Design can choose from an Associate’s degree in Interior Design or a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design Management. Berkeley College programs in Justice Studies - Criminal Justice provide students with a comprehensive foundation for careers in such areas as policing, corrections, probation, criminal justice administration, and corporate and private security. Students enrolled in the Health Services programs learn important business and technology skills required to succeed in this constantly evolving industry.

The Berkeley College School of Liberal Arts provides the required and elective courses that are integrated into the degree programs offered by The School of Business and The School of Professional Studies.

The mission of The School of Liberal Arts is not only to build applicable skills such as reading, thinking, and writing, but also to deepen students’ appreciation of cultural differences.

The Berkeley College School of Continuing Education provides programs and support to adult and non-traditional students pursuing Bachelor's and Associate's degrees and Certificates. Students receive personalized services to assist them in attaining academic success and obtaining their career goals. The School of Continuing Education also supports the other Schools with their missions to ensure that Berkeley College continues to provide students a positive and rewarding academic experience.
