International Business (B.B.A and B.S.) These programs are designed to provide you with the knowledge and understanding to deal effectively with the complexities of contemporary global business environments. The programs combine the dynamics of multinational and multicultural business environments, competing in an interdependent world, and managing cultural diversity with creative problem-solving, team-building, presentation skills, strategic planning, and using computers to solve business problems.
International Business (A.S. and A.A.S) Both programs explore the dynamics of multinational and multicultural business environments and prepare students to manage successfully in the large, multinational markets that are emerging in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Pacific Rim, and elsewhere.
The A.S. degree program requires a foreign language. If you wish to develop proficiency in either Spanish or French two important international business languages you should choose the A.S. degree.
If you prefer to focus more intensively on business studies, you should choose the A.A.S degree program, which has no foreign language requirement. Our A.A.S. program integrates a solid foundation in international trade, marketing and management; knowledge of global business practices; an understanding of cultural and environmental contexts of international business; and strong technological skills.
Berkeley College also offers students the opportunity to broaden their experience and study overseas while earning academic credits.
