The Online Library also includes catalog searching tools which allow the online student to search the College's collection or collections in communities around the world. Delivery services are provided and interlibrary loans are arranged by request through forms found on the "Register for Library Services" page.

Reference resources and program-specific websites help find quick answers and career information. Help is also available from the “Ask a Question” links throughout the library web pages. Students can e-mail a question to a librarian or complete a longer form outlining a term paper or project they need help researching. Contacting the libraries by telephone is an option, and live chat on evenings and weekends is also available.

In addition to providing resources, the librarians work with faculty to develop web-based instruction that teaches the concepts of information literacy within the framework of the online course or class assignment. Librarians participate in online courses as guest lecturers and discussion board moderators and also provide follow-up help on the "Current Assignments" web page. With a growing collection of “How Do I” links we hope to answer or give direction for every question that anyone in our distance learning community might have about navigating the library or finding and using information.
