Students in the National Guard are eligible for admission to any of Berkeley's degree programs in New York, New Jersey, and Online. Berkeley College requires proof of High School completion or GED completion and encourages all applicants to apply early for consideration.
If you are interested in the many programs offered by Berkeley College, please contact us at military@BerkeleyCollege.edu or call us at 1-800-446-5400 ext. WRE to speak with a Berkeley associate who will be able to answer your questions about any of our programs.
General Admission: Apply over the Internet using an Online Application. Alternatively, those applicants who prefer a traditional paper application to be submitted via mail, fax, or in person may download a Traditional Application in Adobe (.pdf) format.
Please ensure you obtain your AARTS Transcript. This is a complete record of your military training and educational experiences. Also, obtain any transcripts from all other secondary schools you have attended and determine if you are eligible for DANTES credit.
Once Berkeley College receives your application, AARTS transcripts, and all other documentation, a Berkeley College admissions associate will contact you with your next steps. If accepted into Berkeley College, you will then need to apply for your benefits under the Post 9/11 GI Bill, the ARNG Federal Tuition Assistance program, and State programs. You may apply for your federal benefits at the ARNG Benefits Online website.
Enroll. A Berkeley College advisor will discuss your desired program with you, the course credits you have been awarded, and what courses you need to continue towards degree completion. Your advisor will review with you the available courses in the online schedule for the next quarter and will sign you up for the course(s) you select.
