Kevin LuingKevin L. Luing is Chairman of the Board of Berkeley College, a privately held college of more than 6000 students.  The College offers Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees in career-oriented business disciplines, and operates campuses in West Paterson, Woodbridge, Newark and Paramus, NJ; White Plains and New York City, NY; and Berkeley College Online. Following 10 years of service as President of the New Jersey campuses, Mr. Luing became Chairman in September 2001.

Mr. Luing is a member of the boards of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, the Westchester County Association, the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and the Foundation for Free Enterprise.  He is a past-president of the New Jersey Business/Technology Education Association, and a former Board member of the Business Council of Westchester, the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board, and the Passaic County Workforce Investment Board.  Mr. Luing is a graduate of both the Leadership Morris and Leadership New Jersey programs.

In 1998, Mr. Luing was named one of the Top 40 Leaders under 40 by New Jersey Business News. That same year, through Mr. Luing’s leadership, Berkeley College was recognized with the Chairman’s Award from the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey.  Berkeley College has been recognized as “One of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey” by NJBIZ magazine 2005 – 2008 and was most recently named as “One of the Best Companies to Work for in New York” by the New York State Society of Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group.

Mr. Luing received an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Math and Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
