Ricardo R. Ortegón
Dean, The School of Continuing Education

Ricardo R. Ortegón was appointed as Dean for the School of Continuing Education in July 2009. Mr. Ortegón’s responsibilities include overseeing the development of courses, seminars, and certificate programs that provide students with knowledge and skills needed for professional careers. 

Before joining Berkeley College, Dean Ortegón was Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at Ramapo College of New Jersey. His prior positions include Associate Director of Enrollment Management and School Relations and Director of Graduate Student Services at Texas A&M International University; and Director of Enrollment Management and Recruitment for the Graduate School and Director of Academic Advising and Adult Learning at Montclair State University.

Mr. Ortegón holds an MBA degree in International Trade and a BBA degree in General Business from Texas A&M International University. He is an honorary member of Omicron Delta Kappa, and a member of the following organizations: the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and the Association for Continuing Higher Education.
